Presented by Marsai Martin, this third chapter will take over Texas Southern University from Friday, August 29 through Sunday, August 31, filling the campus with unforgettable experiences.
Friday, August 29 – Pre-Event Kickoff
The festivities begin with a special Meet & Greet with Marsai, giving fans a chance to connect with the event’s creator in an intimate setting. The evening also features Urban Trivia Live, hosted by Brandon Ro and DJ Almost Famous, followed by the Sai Summer Pre-Party—a chance to set the tone for the weekend ahead.
Saturday, August 30 – Wellness & Brunch
Saturday kicks off with Sai Soul Sessions, a morning of yoga and a sound bath to rejuvenate the mind and body. The day continues with the Black Excellence Brunch, celebrating achievements and unity in style.
Sunday, August 31 – The Main Event
Doors open at 12:00 PM for the signature cookout experience. This year’s lineup features headline performances by KWN, Houston legend Paul Wall, Monaleo, Ari Camille, and The Session, with sets from Slater Rose, DJ Mr. Rogers, and DJ Richy Smart. The day will be hosted by Scott Evans, Serena Page, and Zoie Fenty, ensuring nonstop energy from start to finish.
A food court curated by Keith Lee will offer crowd-pleasing eats, while the Vendor Village powered by Chime will highlight over 50 Black-owned businesses—perfect for discovering unique goods and supporting local entrepreneurs.
The event wraps at 10:45 PM, but the memories will carry long after the music fades.
