Texas Southern University Homecoming 2026: Come Home for the Game, the Yard and the Celebration

Tigers, alumni, students, faculty, staff, families and friends are invited to come home for Texas Southern University Homecoming 2026, October 18–24.

Homecoming is a time to reconnect with the people, traditions and experiences that make Texas Southern University special. This year’s theme is Mission 99: The Final Ascent to 100, a recognition of this Homecoming being the last of the University’s first century as we prepare to exit the Road to 100 and celebrate our Centennial in 2027.

The week culminates Saturday, October 24, when the Texas Southern University Tigers take on Southern University at 2 p.m. at Reliant Stadium.

The game will also feature the pageantry and tradition of HBCU football, with performances by Texas Southern University’s Ocean of Soul Marching Band and Southern University’s Human Jukebox.
