Texas Southern University’s Isoke Williams Selected for Prestigious Higher Education Leadership Fellowship

Texas Southern University proudly announces that Isoke Williams has been selected as an honorary fellow in the 2025 “Rho Cohort” of the Higher Education Leadership Foundation (HELF). As part of the 19th cohort, Williams joins a distinguished group of leaders committed to advancing excellence and equity in higher education. Her selection reflects a career marked by visionary leadership, strategic innovation, and a deep commitment to institutional transformation.

“I’m truly honored to be selected and inspired by those who continue to pay it forward, ensuring the race is not only run but sustained with excellence,” Williams said.

A two-time alumna of Texas Southern University and a proud second-generation Tiger, Williams serves as the inaugural Executive Director of Advancement Services, a department established within University Advancement in 2023. In this role, she leads strategic fundraising operations and data-driven donor engagement initiatives.

Williams also serves as an adjunct professor in the Jesse H. Jones School of Business and Vice Chair of Staff Council. She extends her deepest gratitude to her university colleagues, mentors, coaches, and collaborators who have generously shared their wisdom, lifted as they climbed and modeled what it means to lead with purpose.

“I stand on the shoulders of those who were not afraid to pour into me,” Williams said. “Their guidance and generosity have shaped my journey, and I am committed to doing the same for the next generation of leaders.”
