The Storyteller in Service: Aaron Hall Uses Media to Make a Difference

Meet Aaron Hall, a proud Junior Marketing major at Texas Southern University, who’s spending his summer doing more than just building his résumé, he’s building impact. Through his role as a Volunteer Recruitment & Marketing Intern at Harmony CDC, Aaron is using his passion for digital media to spark real change in the Dallas community.

Armed with a camera, creativity, and a deep sense of purpose, Aaron is leading the charge in telling stories that matter. From producing compelling video content to running social media campaigns and planning service projects, his work supports volunteer engagement, fights food insecurity, and provides visibility for unhouse families.

But Aaron’s impact doesn’t stop there. This summer, he’s also part of the first-ever cohort of Studio 1927, a student content creator program within Texas Southern’s Office of Marketing and Communications. There, he contributes to the university’s official social media presence while sharpening his storytelling and creative production skills that fuel both his present-day projects and his future dreams.

So, what’s next for Aaron?

As a self-described storyteller at heart, he dreams of becoming a film producer and director, one who centers Black history and elevates underrepresented voices in media. With his bold vision and meaningful action, Aaron Hall is a name to watch, and we can’t wait to see what story he tells next.
