Gloria Davis Selected as Fellow in Harvard’s Strategic Data Project for Minority-Serving Institutions

Gloria Davis, Database Administrator in Texas Southern University’s Office of Planning & Analytics, has been selected to participate in the inaugural cohort of the Strategic Data Project (SDP) Minority-Serving Institution (MSI) Data Community of Practice and Fellowship, an initiative led by the Center for Education Policy Research at Harvard University.

Davis is among a cohort of data professionals representing 18 institutions nationwide, selected to strengthen the use of data in advancing student achievement and equity at Minority-Serving Institutions. She will represent Texas Southern as part of the 2025-2026 cohort, contributing to a national learning community focused on transforming education through evidence-based decision-making.

The fellowship aims to build a strong data community across MSIs and equip Fellows with the tools to drive impactful, evidence-based change in higher education.
