Back to Class Bash: Texas Southern vs. Mississippi Valley State

Texas Southern University Men’s Basketball invites Tiger Nation to kick off the Spring 2026 semester at the Back to Class Bash as the Tigers face Mississippi Valley State. The matchup marks the first day of classes and serves as an exciting opportunity for students, alumni, and fans to come together and show their support.

The game will take place on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. inside the H&PE Arena in Houston, Texas. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and help create a strong home-court atmosphere.

As a special promotion, the first 150 students in attendance will receive a free Texas Southern T-shirt.
